Land of Oz a Beech Mountain

The Land of Oz is a theme park located on Beech Mountain, North Carolina. It was opened in 1970 and was inspired by L. Frank Baum's book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". The park was closed in 1980 but was reopened for annual Autumn events in the 1990s.
