Confederation Centre of the Arts was founded in 1964 in Charlottetown and contains over 16,000 artworks dedicated to historic and contemporary art. The museum mostly showcases Canadian artists and, apart from the gallery, includes a theater, a library-museum, and an outdoor area used for summer festivals.
