Marginal Way a Ogunquit

Marginal Way Walk

Marginal Way Walk is a stunning, 1.25-mile-long coastal walkway in Ogunquit, Maine, that offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. This scenic path runs from Perkins Cove to Ogunquit Beach, making it a popular destination for both tourists and locals. It was originally designed in the 1920s by Josiah Chase Jr. and was later donated to the town by his widow in the 1930s. The Marginal Way Walkway was designated a National Recreation Trail in 2013 and is considered one of the most beautiful seaside walks in New England. In addition to its natural beauty, the walkway features benches, picnic areas, and several access points to nearby beaches, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing day trip.
