Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial is a national monument located on the National Mall in Washington D.C. It was built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, who played a pivotal role in the abolition of slavery and the preservation of the Union during the Civil War.
