Les Invalides

Les Invalides, or the Hôtel des Invalides, is on the list of the most significant attractions in Paris. Recognized for its stunning golden dome, the establishment offers you to admire art pieces and take a glimpse at the burial site of Napoleon I. Associated with the French Armed Forces, it was authorized by Louis XIV in 1670 to supply accommodation and hospital care for wounded soldiers. After Napoleon's abdication in 1815, it housed more than 5,000 survivors of the Great Army.
